The replica is manufactured in cooperation with the EMG Arms brand. The SA-C19 is engraved with the Daniel Defense® trademarks – a firearms manufacturer from the USA. Since 2002 Daniel Defence have specialized in providing various variants of the AR15 and accessories and also on special produced special requests for USSOCOM.
The receiver, stock slide, handguard and Special Forces style stock, and the pistol grip, are made from fibre-glass reinforced polymer. Remaining components such as the barrel, flash hider, enlarged charging handle and tactical sling swivels are made of metal (parts made of steel include the screws, pins, shell ejection window and mock bolt carrier). The receiver bears markings and a serial number.
The replica’s parts fit very well together and there is no play between the lower and upper receiver. The use of a light polymer receiver allowed for a reduced weight, which makes it very suitable for dynamic games or long-lasting mil-sims. What’s more, fibreglass reinforcement makes the receiver more durable than plastic and metal receivers.
The replica features an ESA™ Quick Spring Change System. The system allows the player to quickly adapt the power of the replica to the conditions expected on the playing field without the necessity to have the access to a workshop or a set of special tools – all that is required is to remove the buffer tube in order to gain access to the spring so that it can be removed without having to pull out or disassemble the gearbox.
The gearbox contains 8 mm slide bearings as well as shimmed steel gears. The system has 4 anti-reversal latch points. A light polycarbonate polymer piston with full steel teeth, in order to increase its durability. Also, included is a type 0 cylinder, as well as a precise rotary Hop-Up chamber. The rotary type Hop-Up chamber perfectly fits with the high quality 6.03 precision barrel. The use of a precision barrel increases the range and accuracy of the replica.
The replica is equipped with a 22 mm RIS rail and an adjustable stock. The top RIS rail features a folding rear sight. Due to the extendable stock with an anti-slip stock pad, it is possible to adapt the replica’s length to the body type and preferences of the User. A standard flash hider has a 14 mm left-handed thread, which allows the attachment of a silencer in its place.
